Nigerian Pastor Odumeje Hosts ‘Comedy’ Show, Charges £100, £700, £1000 As Entry Fee
Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, the controversial Onitsha-based pastor better known as Odumeje, is set to host what appears to be a “comedy” show in London, the United Kingdom, on April 13.
The show is billed to take place at the Lighthouse Theatre, starting at 5:30 pm with a fee of £100 per person. A table for 6 goes for £700 while that of 10 persons is £1000.
According to a viral poster for the event, the night’s guest performers include comedians like Efe Warriboy and Laffin Gas while the actors are Chinyere Wilfred and Nosa Rex.
Although the cleric did not state the type of concert he is hosting, the line-up of the guest performers indicates it is a comedy show.
The ticketing website Eventbrite‘s description of Odumeje’s concert also reads: “Get ready to laugh till your sides ache and dance like there’s no tomorrow! Join us for a night of uproarious comedy, electrifying music performances, and non-stop entertainment with the one and only The Lion Himself, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje *alongside a stellar cast of seasoned conedians and entertainers* live in London, UK, on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
“Indabosi Bahose Tour 24 isn’t your average event—it’s a divine extravaganza where laughter and joy take centre stage!”
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Odumeje also disclosed that he will unveil his new album at the concert.
“London 2024: Power or Nothing. Don’t miss this great event on Saturday 13th April, 2024. My new album will be released with great power at London 2024,” he wrote.
