BREAKING: FG Announces 30-Day Petrol Discount at NNPC Filling Stations
The Federal Government has announced plans to reduce the price of petrol at NNPC filling stations for the next 30 days.
Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday.
Oyedele said the discount would prioritise public transport operators, adding that the government would also introduce a “negotiated landing cost” for petrol, which would be reviewed monthly.
“There’ll be a discount on NNPC petrol for the next 30 days, with priority for public transporters,” he said.
Further details are expected to be released by the Federal Government.
