Peter Obi Addresses World Press Conference Over S’court Judgment

Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the last election, will address a world press conference today, November 6 at 2pm.

This was disclosed by Obiora Ifoh, national publicity secretary of LP.

“His Excellency Peter Obi will address a World Press Conference scheduled for 2 pm today at Campaign Headquarters,” the statement reads.

Alongside Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the poll, Obi had challenged the outcome of the February 25 election and the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of the poll.

While dismissing the petitions of both candidates, the tribunal had affirmed Tinubu as winner of the poll, with the supreme court upholding the tribunal’s verdict on October 26.

Abubakar had addressed a world press conference of his own on the apex court’s verdict on October 30.

This would be Obi’s first press briefing since the supreme court verdict.
