Information reaching Ibom Focus says that there was serious Jubilation as Government Directs Immediate Reversal Of Pure Water Price
The Executive Chairman of Keffi Local Government Council, Hon. Muhammad Baba Shehu has directed the immediate reversal of the price of pure water to its initial Ten Naira per sachet.
Shehu-Baba gave the directive during an expanded extraordinary emmergency meeting with the package water producers in the Council area.

According to him, the decision on the 100% increment was purely on the best interest of the production factories without putting the prospective customers in consideration; neither in consultation with the council relevant authorities.
While announcing the formation of a technical committee that would work on the differences, the Executive Chairman also directed that the association should submit three members to be part of the committee.
He warned that failure to comply with the directive of the Council will attract severe sanction on the defaulting business premise.
Earlier, the secretary of the package water association, Keffi local government area, Pastor Daniel Okorie, said hike in production material was what propelled their members to take 100% increase in the price of every bag of water; adding that the increment was nationwide.
