Information reaching Ibom Focus says that Labour Party Collapses Structure For Tinubu
The gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party (LP) in Adamawa State, Umar Madawaki, has dumped the presidential candidate of his party, Peter Obi and collapsed his structure to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
At a gathering on Thursday in Yola, the state capital, Madawaki, also known as Otumba Ekiti, urged his supporters to vote for Tinubu on Saturday. He however stressed that he was in the race for the governorship seat in the state.
“It is in the light of all these that we entered into discussions with APC and after exhaustive negotiations, we have decided to collapse our entire structure into the APC structure for the presidential elections.
“I call on all my supporters, therefore, to go to the polls come Saturday and overwhelmingly vote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
