Nigeria and Zimbabwe: Advancing a Shared Liberation Legacy and Enduring Partnership on Zimbabwe’s Independence Day
The Federal Government of Nigeria extends warm felicitations to the Government and people of the Zimbabwe on the occasion of their Independence Day, commemorated annually on 18 April, marking the country’s attainment of independence in 1980.
This historic milestone represents the culmination of Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle and its transition to sovereign statehood, reflecting the resilience, determination, and aspirations of its people.
