Member representing Badagry Federal Constituency of Lagos State, Hon. Sessi Oluwaseun Whingan, has voiced strong support for President Bola Tinubu’s Leadership, recognizing the sacrifices of Nigeria’s democratic heroes while rallying the youth behind the administration’s long-term vision for national growth.
In an interview with journalists shortly after President Tinubu’s address to the joint National Assembly on Thursday , Hon. Whingan criticized those who oppose Tinubu, saying they are unable to build alternative political platforms.
He praised the President’s economic strategy, particularly the emphasis on investment in technology and security.
Hon. He likened Nigeria’s current state to a patient undergoing treatment: “When you are sick, you take medication, but healing takes time. That is where we are as a nation. The President is laying a concrete foundation for a greater economy and a greater Nigeria.”
Addressing the role of youth in nation-building, Hon. Sessi affirmed full support from the younger generation. “The future belongs to us. We see that the government’s policies today align with the vision of the youth,” he stated, calling for continuous policy evaluation to ensure they reflect the aspirations of Nigeria’s vibrant and dynamic young population.
