Bandits’ Leader Ado Aleru Holds Emergency Meeting Over Nephew’s Killing
Notorious bandit leader Ado Aleru has convened an emergency meeting with his fighters and loyalists following the killing of his nephew, Isuhu Yellow, by a rival bandit faction loyal to Dogo Gide.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the meeting was held on Thursday at one of Aleru’s camps in Munhaye Forest, Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
“We saw dozens of motorcycles carrying them (bandits) from all directions, heading towards Munhaye,” a local source, who requested anonymity, said.
The killing of Isuhu Yellow in Dan Jibga village is believed to be part of the ongoing rivalry between Aleru and Gide, two of the most notorious bandit leaders operating in the Northwest region.
Sources said the meeting was convened to discuss possible retaliation and strategies following the attack.
The rivalry between Aleru and Gide has led to repeated violent clashes, causing loss of lives and displacement of communities in Zamfara and neighboring states.
Interesting Days Ahead, May We Not Encounter Them But May They Continue To Eliminate Themselves.
