Tinubu’s Minister Knows Bandits’ Kingpin, Turji’s Whereabouts, His N20m Bounty Is A Joke – Islamic Cleric Exposes Top Secret
Murtala Bello Asada, A Sokoto-based prominent Islamic preacher, has mocked the Nigerian Minister of State for Defence, Bello Mutawalle, describing his N20million bounty as a joke.
The minister had shortly after relocating to Sokoto State on the directives of President Bola Tinubu on September 1, announced a N20 million bounty on notorious bandits kingpin, Bello Turji.
In a viral video posted by a counter insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad basin, Zagazola Makama on his X on Sunday, Asada, while delivering a sermon, accused Matawalle of supplying logistics to bandits.
The fierce cleric claimed in the video that the defence minister donated Toyota Hilux vehicles to terrorists’ kingpins in the ranks of Halilu Sububu, Ada Allero and Bello Turji.
The cleric therefore described as a “huge joke”, the minister’s offer of a N20 million bounty on Bello Turji.
He asserted that the minister was not committed to dislodging banditry and terrorism, insisting that “the government and those in power know where the terrorists are living.”
He added, “How dare he place monetary bounty on Bello Turji, doesn’t he know his whereabouts? Does he take us for mere gullible fellows?”
“I Murtala Bello wish to state unequivocally clear that the current defence minister has bought vehicles for bandits.
“Among benefitting bandits leaders, Halilu Sububu, current defence minister bought them vehicles; Ada Allero, and Bello Turji.”
The cleric vehemently prayed to God to expose those mishandling the country’s security architecture.
