An angry Nigerian man with the user name @Oba_West_ has threatened popular singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, better called by his stage name Iyanya, over a lustful gesture at his girlfriend days after Davido’s ‘Timeless’ concert in Lagos State.
The singer had taken to Twitter to hunt for a certain lady who passed a certain vibe to him during his performance at the concert.
He tweeted: “One fine girl was eyeing me yesterday @davido Timeless Concert. I had to focus on the job, so it was this morning I remember. If you are that girl, report yourself now under this tweet, you wanted to confuse me ha.”
Shortly after, Iyanya posted the lady’s picture and expressed excitement that he had finally found her.
However, a video of the lady with her boyfriend dancing at the concert surfaced on social media, and a Twitter user berated the singer over the post.
The user wrote: “Imagine her boyfriend comes online and sees this, God abeg o.”
Responding, Iyanya stated that the boy must prove ownership of the girl, “Make him show particulars say na him get am.”
Reacting to this, the lady’s boyfriend @Oba_West_ called out Iyanya for making such lustful gestures saying he had thought it was a joke. And threatened him to delete the post.
He said: “A friend of mine called my attention to seeing Iyanya posting my girl’s picture on the internet. I thought it was a joke. Iyanya, with all due respect, can you take this down? You won’t like my actions.”
