It was a sad scene this morning after a 17 years old SHS boy was attacked and killed by armed robbers at Chiraa in the Bono Region of Ghana. God been so good, while running away, one of the armed robbers left his phone and Ghana Card at the crime scene. The exhibits were picked up by the Chiraa Police for further investigation.

The 17 years old boy who was a student at Chiraa Senior High school was riding a tricycle when he met his attackers. They reportedly hired him to convey them to a nearby village called Ahyiaem on the Chiraa- Techiman Road. In the middle of the road, they reportedly tied the boy’s neck with a rope and killed him instantly.

After the gruesome act, they picked his sales for the day and keys of the tricycle. The robbers reportedly started riding towards the Techiman Road only for them to realise that the petrol in the tricycle wasn’t enough. They abandoned the tricycle and absconded. Unluckily, that was when a Ghana Card and mobile phone belonging to one of them dropped.

The body of the young boy was picked up by the Chiraa Police this morning as they continue with their investigations to bring the robbers to book.
