The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade has sworn in Justice Akon Ikpeme as the substantive Chief Judge of Cross River.
Swearing in the Chief Judge on Monday at the Executive Chamber, Governor Ayade charged her to be reasonable for all to push the state legal executive ahead.
The Governor noticed that the state was going through a difficult period in its set of experiences and would need the legal executive to remain malevolence allowed to hold hands with the Executive and Legislative arms to handle those difficulties.
Portraying the new Chief Judge as the correct individual for the plum work, the Governor said Ikpeme was being confirmed at the right time and that in spite of the scenes of the most recent nine months which neutralized her, she was to be sure God’s decision.
