No fewer than 15 suspects have been arrested in connection with the looting of a warehouse in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

Ibom Focus earlier reported how hoodlums invaded the Agric Department Strategic food store located at Tasha, Abuja on Sunday and carted away food items and other valuables.

A statement issued by Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh said operatives of the command arrested some of the hoodlums and recovered stolen items.

According to her, items such as twenty-six bags of Maiz, five Motorcycles and some vandalized aluminum roofings were recovered from the suspects.

“The Command wishes to state that normalcy has since been restored to the environ and the situation is very much under control, as fifteen (15) suspects were arrested, including two local security guards employed by the warehouse management”, the statement added.
