How I Became An Apostle – Pastor Udofia

Pastor I. O. Udofia has expressed gratitude to God for uplifting him to an Apostle in The Apostolic Church Nigeria, FCT field, Abuja.

Udofia revealed how God elevated him to a position he had never expected or thought possible.

Udofia is 7th Nyanya Area Superintendent of The Apostolic Church, Nigeria, FCT field.

Ibom Focus gathered that Udofia was among three newly ordained Apostles in the FCT field.

Until his appointment as an Apostle, Udofia served as an Area Council Prophet. In the doctrine of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, it is very rare for a prophet to become an Apostle.

However, by God’s will, Udofia was promoted to Apostle.

Udofia stated that his ascent to Apostleship was by the grace of God.

He mentioned that he was born a prophet and expected to remain a prophet for life, but God’s grace changed his destiny.

In a statement made available to journalists on Sunday, Udofia recounted his experience: “I was first ordained as an Apostle through the former FCT Field Superintendent, Apostle Dr. J. A. Buzu, in my dream.

The first time, I saw Buzu calling me, saying he had been looking for me for a long time.

He then anointed me and declared me an Apostle.

I woke up immediately, pondering its meaning but chose not to share it with anyone.

The second time, Buzu ordained me again in my dream. I was puzzled because I knew it wasn’t easy for a prophet to become an Apostle. I kept quiet, waiting to see what would happen.

When Dr. Pastor I. S. Udoinyang became the new field superintendent, he appointed me as a supervisor for the Kado Area.

After a year, he anointed me as an Apostle.

Thus, my Apostleship came through revelation,” Udofia explained.

“Let me tell you, grace can make the impossible possible if you believe in Him.

As He did it for me, He can do it for anyone,” Udofia added.

Udofia revealed this on Sunday during the 2024 Nyanya Area Superintendent’s tour at Mararaba District Headquarters.

He began his tour on June 16th across five districts that make up the Area and concluded it on June 30th at Nyanya District with Communion.

Udofia titled his tour with the theme, “The Messenger and the Good News,” referencing Isaiah 52:7. The main topic was “M Rest to Power of 4,” where M4 stands for Minister, Mountain, Messenger, and Message.

According to Udofia, there is no message without a messenger, and every message must carry news, whether good or bad.

Udofia assumed duty as the 7th Nyanya Area Superintendent on April 19, 2024.
