    “774,000 JOBS: Beneficiaries Work Will Gain My Support” , A’ibom Council Boss

    Hon. Surv. Iniobong Ekpenyong, The Executive Chairman, Uruan Local Government Area, Akwa ibom state, has assured the beneficiaries of Federal Government Special Public Works (SPW) programme in Uruan of his support.
    Ekpenyong, who made the disclosure during the inaugural ceremony of members of Uruan Chapter of Federal Government SPW at the Local government secretariat, Idu, urged them to be committed, transparent and should avoid sharp practices in performing their assigned duties.

    IBOM FOCUS learned that Surv. Ekpeyong is among the six top performing local government chairmen in Akwa ibom state out of the 31 local governments based on the scorecard released by Pulse newspaper.

    It was also gathered that Surv. Ekpeyong was sworn in as the Local Government Chairman in Akwa ibom state alongside 31 local Council chairmen on 7 December, 2020.

    It is not a surprise to see Ekpeyong emerge among the six top Council chairmen, because since he resumed Office, he has been working around the clock. Surv. Ekpeyong has been popularly known and tagged as the working Chairman.
