FG Earmarks N6.14bn For Tinubu’s Foreign Trips In 2026 Budget
The Federal Government has earmarked N6.14 billion for President Bola Tinubu’s foreign trips in the proposed 2026 Appropriation Bill.
Details from the budget proposal also show that an additional N873.88 million has been allocated for the president’s local travels. This brings President Tinubu’s total travel budget for 2026 to N7.01 billion.
Similarly, the proposed budget makes provisions for the Vice-President, Kashim Shettima, with a total allocation of N1.73 billion for general travel and transportation.
A breakdown of the figure shows that N417.48 million is set aside for the vice-president’s local travel, while N1.31 billion is earmarked for international trips.
The allocations form part of the broader expenditure framework contained in the 2026 appropriation bill currently before the National Assembly for consideration.
