BREAKING: Many Soldiers Feared Killed In Abia State Attack

In a tragic incident, three soldiers from the 14 Brigade Headquarters of the Nigerian Army, Ohafia, attached to the 144 Battalion, have been feared killed in Aba, Abia State’s commercial hub.

The soldiers met their untimely demise at an army outpost situated at the popular Obikabia junction off Umuola in Aba North local government area. According to reports, masked gunmen arrived in a black SUV, catching the soldiers off guard.

In a daring move, the assailants not only took the soldiers by surprise but also made off with their weapons. To further compound the situation, they set fire to the patrol van and the outpost before fleeing the scene.

The gravity of the situation is evident as military aircraft were later observed hovering around the city center, indicating a heightened state of alert and response to the attack.

This tragic incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers faced by security personnel in the line of duty, highlighting the need for continued vigilance and robust security measures to safeguard lives and property in the region.
