Information reaching Ibom Focus that Angry Sokoto Residents Burn Kidnappers To Ashes
There was pandemonium in Illela town, the headquarters of Local Government Area in Sokoto State, as angry residents reportedly burned suspected kidnappers to death.
According to the information gathered, the armed men stormed the community in their numbers to wreak havoc but were fiercely repelled by the vigilant and gallant residents of Illela town.
It was gathered that the community members outnumbered and overpowered the suspected kidnappers. Some of the suspects managed to escape with serious injuries while the few that were apprehended were subsequently burnt to ashes by the angry mob.
