BREAKING: Residents Set APC Campaign Vehicle Ablaze During Governor Radda’s Visit To Katsina Community
Residents of Yankara town in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State have reportedly set an APC-branded campaign vehicle ablaze during Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s campaign tour on Saturday.
Reports indicate that some residents attacked the governor’s convoy and set a vehicle displaying photographs of APC candidates on fire, destroying it completely.
Governor Radda was in the community to showcase his administration’s achievements and seek public support ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The incident comes just three days after a similar incident was reportedly recorded in Malumfashi Local Government Area of the state.
The two incidents have raised concerns over growing political tension and security challenges in Katsina State as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections intensify.
