33-Year-Old Man Caught Writing FCT Promotion Exam For His Father
A 33-year-old man, Monsuru Musa, has been arrested for allegedly impersonating his father, Musa Mohammed, during the FCT Civil Service Commission promotional examination.
Monsuru was caught on October 7 while writing the examination at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), where the test was being conducted.
Lere Olayinka, spokesperson for the command, said the suspect initially told security operatives that his father was sick but later confessed that he was directed by him to write the examination on his behalf.
According to Olayinka, Monsuru put his father’s age at between 67 and 68, while Musa Mohammed claimed he would be 60 years old by February 2027.
During further questioning, the father reportedly disclosed that he finished primary school in 1977 and secondary school in 1982.
The father and son have since been handed over to the police for further investigation after making statements to DSS operatives.
