A 23-year-old woman, Nike Owolabi, has been remanded by a magistrates’ court for stealing a newborn baby from the Ajisafe Hospital, Omu Aran, Kwara State.

The prosecutor, Insp Adewumi Johnson, urged the court to remand the defendant pending further investigation.

The magistrate, Saliu Muhammed, ordered the defendant to be remanded and adjourned the case to March 8, 2022.
