Edo Government Demolishes Philip Shaibu’s House
A team from the Edo State Ministry of Roads and Bridges and Government House, Benin, demolished the security post at the private residence of Comrade Philip Shaibu, the impeached deputy governor of Edo State, on Sunday evening.
At around 5 p.m., members of the demolition crew used a bulldozer to demolishe the buildings, supported by police officers with full weapons and Edo State Security Network agents.
A female compound inhabitant, speaking in confidence, said that the former deputy governor was not informed prior to the demolition.
