Information reaching Ibom Focus says that Nigerian Female Students Sell Off Friend For N6m

The worst is yet to be heard as the quest for quick riches has taken a dangerous dimension in Delta State.

The Story, exclusively gathered that two female students of Otovwodo Grammar, Otovwodo Ughelli, the administrative headquarter of Ughelli north local government area of the state, purportedly sold one of their friends for N6 million to men suspected to be ritualists for money sacrifice.

It was learnt that on the fateful day, the female student whose name The Story, could not ascertained, was lured by her two friends into a tricycle to an unknown destination.

It was gathered that the students paid the sum of N4, 000 to the tricycle operator to convey them to and fro during school hours.

It was gathered that the two students returned with two bags suspected to be filled with cash to the tricycle without their friend.

It was learnt that the curious tricycle operator, made enquiry on why the third student was not with them, the students replied him that she is with her boyfriend.

Suspecting that the tricycle operator would leak their secret, the students allegedly gave the tricycle operator, N60, 000 instead of the initial N4, 000 they initially bargained.

It was learnt that the tricycle operator, immediately raised alarm and diverted the students to the police station where they were nabbed.

The female students, it was gathered confessed to the crime after they were tortured by the police.

It was gathered that the police mobilized to the scene to rescue the student but it was alleged that before they arrived, the suspects had already murdered their victim.

Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright, queried the source of the information.

He said: “there is nothing like that. I don’t know where that rumour came from. There’s absolutely nothing like that”, he added.
