Native Doctor Kill Client During ‘Bulletproof Charm’ Test

Timothy Dauda, a 19-year-old who claimed to possess “native doctor” abilities, has been arrested following the shooting of his client to death while testing a bulletproof charm he had done for the client in Edo State.

Dauda had been hired to provide a bulletproof charm, which he was testing on the client to prove its efficacy.

It was gathered that the incident happened at Onumu Community, in the Àkókò-Edo Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the incident on Monday, the spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Moses Joel Yamu, said that the suspect specialises in preparing charms against guns and cutlasses.

Yamu explained that the suspect was arrested by operatives of the Igarra Division.

According to the image maker, “The victim, Alex Ezekiel, approached the suspect and requested the bulletproof charm.

“One Alex Ezekiel ‘m’ now deceased, went to the “native doctor” to get the charms prepared for him. After preparing the charms, the native doctor tried to test the efficacy of the charm by shooting the deceased with a gun,” the PPRO stated.

“Unfortunately, the deceased sustained fatal injuries, was rushed to Ifejola Hospital, Igarra, where he was certified dead by a medical doctor.”

He added that the suspect would face prosecution as soon as the investigation was concluded.
