Man Returns From UK To Propose To Girlfriend Only To Discover She’s Pregnant For Ex
A Nigerian man has narrated how he was left with a broken heart after he tried to surprise his girlfriend with marriage proposal.
The guy known as @Pascalinho4ever on Twitter, said he flew down to Nigeria from UK to propose but on reaching, he discovered that her ex-lover had impregnated her.
He said she did not inform him about the pregnancy while he was overseas neither was he aware that she had been seeing her ex.
He said that it happened in December 2022 and she broke the devastating news to him on the 18th of the month.
According to Pascal, his girlfriend gave birth to the child on his birthday, May 12th 2023.
He wrote; “Coming back to from UK ???????? to propose to my girlfriend, only to find out she already had a child for her ex just within a year.
“I have our chat on my phone, she kept it as secret to me until I came bk to NIGERIA, dat fateful day, I called her so we can have heart to heart discussion, she broke the news to me My life changed from that day 18th December 2022, The child was born on my birthday, 12th May”.
Similarly, another man found himself in a tight position following a shocking discovery regarding his girlfriend.
His babe studies at a university abroad and he wanted to surprise her by traveling to the country without letting her know.
According to a friend who shared the story via his Twitter handle @Zak_Thestepper, he saved money and with the help of friends, he was able to secure travel documents.
He reached the country where his babe is studying but she informed him that she was already in a new relationship with another guy.
He had booked a return ticket which he could only use in the next five days, so he spent those few days abroad sulking and sad.
The tweep @Zak_Thestepper said his heartbroken friend returned home last week and his friends have been consoling him.
He wrote; My guys GF was studying abroad. Oga saved for months just to be able to buy a plane-ticket to go see her with help also from we his guys as well. He arrived and she almost immediately told him that she has someone else.
He came back to 9ja last week & haven’t been same tbh. Stays indoors all the time. We don console am tire but omoo things ain’t getting better & us en guys sef don tire sef. Y’all guys in a relationship, please be safe.
