Nigerian Tweeps Knock Pro-Fubara Local Council Caretaker Chairman, Chijioke Ihunwo For Appointing 100 Special Assistants
The Caretaker Chairman of Obio-Akpor local government area of Rivers State, Chijioke Ihunwo has been knocked on X (formerly Twitter) for announcing the appointment of 100 special assistants to form part of his administration.
The caretaker chairman announced this in a post on his X handle, saying the appointment takes immediate effect on Wednesday.
Ihunwo is one of the caretaker chairpersons appointed by Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State amid a political crisis in the state.
But Oroma (@Omatune) wrote, “Dis you say 100 special assistants? To assist in what exactly? . When I said you look like Wike facially, I knew something funny was attached to it.”
Also, Daddy H (@real_daddyh) wrote, “This one is indirectly recruiting an army in preparation for a possible fight against Wike’s boys.”
Another X user, Booboo Kitty (@odozi_aku_) said, “And you post am without shame?”

Fubara had ensured that the former chairpersons loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, did not get their tenure renewed.
