JUST IN: Unrest, Kaduna On Fire As Terrorists Kidnap Dozens Of Residents In Fresh Attack
Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have kidnapped at least 40 people in a fresh attack launched on Monday night on a village in Kaduna State.
A former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, who made this known in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday said that the 40 victims were kidnapped on Monday night in Bura Village in the Kajuru Local Government Area of the state.
Condemning the incident, Senator Sani said, “The attack and kidnapping of another 40 people Yesternight in Buda Village, Kajuru local Government, Kaduna State was another condemnable act.”
Ibom Focus had reported how terrorists last week abducted no fewer than 232 students and teachers in Kuriga village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Senator Sani who also confirmed the incident in a post on his X noted that the incident happened in the same village where a school principal, Idris Sufyan was killed and his wife kidnapped over a month ago.
