Information reaching Ibom Focus says that Plateau On Fire As Herder, 4 Cows Shot Dead
One 17-year-old Buhari Muhammad has been shot dead around Rangyel community of Bassa LGA of Plateau State. Four cows were also killed and injuries inflicted on five others in the incident.
The State Chairman of Gan Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN), Abdullahi Garba, who confirmed the incident, told Daily Trust on Thursday that the body of the deceased was recovered by the police.
The latest incident came barely hours after two members of the Irigwe ethnic group were killed in a convoy of the member representing Jos North/Bassa constituency, Musa Agah.
Garba said Muhammad was attacked when he took his cattle to graze and the gunmen suddenly opened fire on him.
