Polling Unit Ambassadors Of Nigeria (PUAN) is the Fastest Growing Election Observation Group In Nigeria
The Deputy Ambassador General of PUAN in the South South Ambassador Barr Mfon Peters have stated that PUAN is the fastest growing Election Observation Group In Nigeria and have been acknowledged by INEC as well Coordinated and its reports very reliable and cannot be faulted.
He said so far within a very short period PUAN have observed and reported on not less than 11 Bye Elections In Nigeria.
Barr Peters who spoke with IBOM FOCUS in Auchi, Edo State during his first pre Inauguration Strategic meeting with members of the State Exco of PUAN in Edo State on Saturday 15th May 2021 said it was time for all Edo State people to enlist into PUAN and contribute their quota to the development of Good Governance in Edo State

According to Barr Peters who is the Zonal Leader of PUAN in the South South disclosed to IBOM FOCUS said PUAN started in 2018 by two articulate, selfless and Visionary Nigerians Amb Dabbas Sulieman who is the National Leader of PUAN and Amb Prince Osaghe who is the Secretary General Of PUAN to address the political deceit of elected representatives in Nigeria beginning from the Polling Unit. He said since then these two Nigerians have not rested on their Oars and that with one Inaugurated State in 2018 in Akwa Ibom State PUAN is now fully entrenched in 19 states of Nigeria and still counting.
Hear him ” Two selfless Nigerians Amb Captain Dabbas Sulieman and Amb Prince Osaghe had in 2018 taken the risk away from the comfort of their homes and created PUAN to address the political thievery that takes place regularly every fours years in Nigeria during Elections at the Polling Units”

The young, vocal Lawyer said he identified with PUAN since 2018 when he saw the need to speak out against bad Governance in Nigeria through a very credible Platform like PUAN. “Political Parties have disappointed Nigerians. They have become instruments of looting the Commonwealth. Nigerians no longer believe in any Political Party. PUAN is not a political party and is not propagating the ideology of any political party in and outside Nigeria. We are political not Partisan” Be added that PUAN has come to change the political narrative in Nigeria today where elected representatives change their lies every four years only to secure the votes of the polling Unit Community and are not held accountable to the promises they made during Elections.

He stated that he was in Edo State the home State of the Secretary General of PUAN as DAG South South with the Zonal Woman Leader South South Amb Silo Ekpenyong to ensure that Edo State is officially and fully entrenched among Inaugurated State Chapters in PUAN in Nigeria. IBOM FOCUS reports
Also speaking at the meeting, the Zonal Woman Leader mentioned that being a member of PUAN is one of the most selfless services any reasonable Nigerian who is concerned about Bad Leadership can offer this country. Amb Silo Ekpenyong enjoined Edo State women to come out in and be enlisted into PUAN as PUAN is very gender friendly.
Reacting the Acting State Woman Leader of PUAN in Edo State Amb Queen Ekhator thanked the DAG South South and the ZWL for taking pains to travel very far to Edo State to sensitize Edo people on the importance of joining PUAN. She said she was now ready to go out and sensitise women massively into PUAN.

The Convener of the meeting Amb Clem Mark Ahemikfe responded that Edo People are happy to hear that the Secretary General of PUAN is from Edo State. He pledged his loyalty and commitment to the laudable aims and objectives of PUAN as mentioned by the DAG South South.
IBOM FOCUS gathered that PUAN was approved by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) since 2018 and they have inaugurated their state EXCO Members in 19 states in Nigeria and that the FCT Abuja Chapter of PUAN will soon be inaugurated.
The Meeting of PUAN in Edo state was the first and was well attended as representatives from the three Senatorial districts attended the meeting.
