She had kids with her spouse before, but when she gave birth to the latter, he refused to be accountable for the child. He told her to bring the baby back to the devil, because he belonged to it.
That confused her, and she concluded that he was joking. He left her at the hospital and did not come back. The situation of the baby, on the other hand, deteriorated every day. She returned him to the hospital, but because it was a community hospital, they could not help her.
Aid was becoming difficult for her. She was unemployed and could not find work because of the child. Yet her life in the city was becoming costly and stressful, so she decided to move back to her village.

Most of those she met laughed at, and some others were sorry about her, and she counseled her to kill the kid because all the baby would provide her was disappointment and suffering.
