Ibom Focus reports that Akwa Ibom State Assembly Receives Names Of Commissioner Nominees
The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has received a list of six persons nominated by the State Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, for appointment into the State Executive Council.
The nominees are Bassey Okon, Offiong Ofor, Aniefiok Isaac Nkom, Iniobong Ekong, Bob Emem, Camillus Essien Umoh.
The names were contained in a letter to the House and read by the Clerk at Plenary on Monday.
Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon.Aniekan Bassey referred the list to the House Committee on Judiciary, Justice, Human Rights and Public Petitions for further legislative action.
The Committee is to report back to the House within 24 hours.
