Return To Your LGA; Umo Eno Tells Commissioner Nominees

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has directed all commissioner-nominees to return to their respective local government areas (LGAs) to celebrate their nominations with their people.

He has also instructed the Director of Security to monitor compliance and report any nominee who chooses to hold their celebration in Uyo, the state capital. The governor warned that any nominee—except those from Uyo—who disregards this directive and celebrates in the capital will be sacked within 24 hours.

Governor Eno made this statement on Thursday during the inauguration of Bureau of Statistics Board, Labour and Industrial Committee at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Uyo.
