A duplicate of the letter which was distributed by online news medium, The Peoples Gazette, uncovered that the investigation concerning Tinubu started a year ago after the removal of the former Chairman, Ibrahim Magu.
The letter checked CR/3000/EFCC/LS/Vol4/322, dated November 6, 2020 was endorsed by the then Lagos zonal head, Abdulrasheed Bawa, who is currently the Chairman of the EFCC.
