…commends TACTS readiness to offer degree programs
In a significant development for The Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (TACTS), Obot Idim Nsit, the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) has conducted a comprehensive resource inspection of its facilities. This inspection comes as a follow-up to the recent approval of affiliation between the Seminary and the prestigious University of Uyo.
The resource inspection which is one of the prerequisites for full accreditation for the award of degree programs was aimed at ascertaining the level of preparedness of the seminary in offering qualitative education in line with global best practices.
On their part, the leadership of Apostolic Theological Seminary expressed enthusiasm about the affiliation and welcomed the scrutiny of its facilities by the NUC. They equally showed strong commitment to upholding the standards set forth by both the NUC and the University of Uyo, ensuring that students receive rigorous academic training in Religious and Cultural Studies.
This development connotes a significant step forward in the expansion of academic opportunities in a Christ-centric community which the seminary portrays. At the commencement of the Degree program at the Seminary, students can expect a comprehensive curriculum, access to renowned faculty, and the opportunity to earn a universally recognized degree in Religious and Cultural Studies.
Some of the facilities inspected by the NUC included Lecture Halls, ICT Resource Centre, Library, Administrative Block, Sanitary Facilities, Offices, Health Center, among others.
