Bello Turji Kills Kidnapped Victims After Receiving Ransom

Two young men have been killed by dreaded bandit leader, Bello Turji.

Turji killed the two victims from Isa Local Government Area of Sokoto State, despite their families paying ransom for their release.

The victims were abducted during a recent attack on their community and were later instructed to pay ransom.

Their families had fulfilled the ransom demands in hopes of securing their safe return.

Counter-insurgency in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama reported a source as saying, “Despite receiving the ransom, Turji executed the victims. It was an act of cruelty that has left the entire community devastated.”

This is coming when Turji had issued fresh threats over his uncles arrested by Nigerian troops.

The bandit kingpin warned that he would unleash deadly attacks if his uncles were not released.

However, the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, DHQ, called his bluff, describing Turji as “a dead man walking.”
