Tension As Baby Stolen From Mother’s Bedroom
Unidentified person on Wednesday stole a three-month-old baby, Precious Silas, from her mother’s bedroom at the Egbeada Housing Estate, Owerri, Imo State.

It was gathered that the baby was stolen around 11am On Wednesday after his mother, Mrs Chidinma Silas, stepped out to get an item within the neighbourhood.
According to The PUNCH, the stolen baby’s mother, Chidinma said the suspect broke into her bedroom and stole the child, leaving his two-year-old brother behind.
The distraught mother said, “When I looked closely, I noticed that the padlock I used to lock the door to my house had been broken. When I went inside, I discovered that my baby had been taken away. I felt someone might be playing pranks on me but as the day went by, I didn’t hear anything from anyone.

“I immediately went to the estate security to report the incident and they said no one had left the gates to the estate as of that moment.
“I have also gone to the police and the Army brigade to report. I’m dying here. I don’t know how I will survive without my child.”
