Aisha Yesufu Mocks Yahaya Bello, ElRufai

Popular social critic, Aisha Yesufu, has mocked Nasir El-Rufai and Yahaya Bello, both former governors of Kaduna and Kogi States, over their current travails.

Yesufu in a post on her X handle said Nigerian politicians think eight years in power would last forever.

She wrote: “To Nigerian Politicians, 8 years is FOREVER!
    Little do they know!
I laugh in ElRufai and Yahaya Bello.”

The statement is in reaction to the attempted arrest of Yahaya Bello and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, subsequently declaring him wanted for offences relating to economic and financial crimes.

Bello is wanted in connection with an alleged case of money laundering to the tune of N80.2 billion.

EFCC had earlier informed a Federal High Court, Abuja, of the possibility of engaging the Nigerian Army in effecting the arrest of Bello if it considered it an option.
