The Executive Chairman, Uruan Local Government Area, Akwa ibom, Hon. Surv. Iniobong Ekpenyong, has reminded participants of Nung Ikono Obio Social Entrepreneurs (NIOSE), summit on the need to diversify their finances.
The summit which was held at the XPATFX Rubby Hall, Ibom E-library complex, had in attendance, Speakers, youths across all works of life, Technology Expert (Fin-tech), CEO, Made in Akwa Ibom Showroom, Mr Collins Oscar, CEO of Pipminds International (resource person), Mr. Alban Emem, among others.
Ekpenyong, while declaring the second edition of NIOSE open, noted that multiple streams of income was paramount for youths as it would help them have a sustainable plan ahead of the future.
He advised participants to have the drive/passion for knowledge about entrepreneurship, develop business ideas/information and the will to succeed against all odds as the world was moving in the speed of light.
While charging youths to burn midnight oil and remain prayerful, he advised them to search for adequate information and find opportunities where others run away, that it would help sustain their livelihood.
The Uruan Council Chairman further Alban, for putting up NIOES, which was aimed at enlightening the youths, participants on financial breakthrough and business possibilities in 2021.
IBOM FOCUS gathered, Surv. Ekpeyong is always participating in all that concern youths, he is the first Young chairman in Uruan local government Area Akwa ibom state since the creation of the local government.
Ekpeyong who youths tag as “Social Chairman” promised Akwa ibom youths a good relationship and partnership during and after his tenure.
