Popular Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has reportedly been rushed to the hospital after collapsing due to a sudden health emergency.

According to Ibom Focus, the actress shared details of the frightening incident on her Instagram page, revealing that she woke up unable to feel parts of her body and briefly feared she was lifeless.
Despite experiencing alarming symptoms, Martins said she still forced herself to go to her shop to carry out inventory and conduct interviews for new staff. It was during this process that she reportedly slumped and was immediately taken to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

Doctors reportedly conducted over 30 medical tests on the actress, including checks for cancer, fibroid, liver and kidney function, malaria, and typhoid. All test results, however, came back negative.

Narrating her ordeal, Martins explained that months of relentless work without rest took a toll on her health.

“Woke up today and couldn’t feel any part of my body. For a second, I felt lifeless. I still struggled and went to my stores to do inventory and a few interviews for incoming employees, and that was when I slumped,” she wrote.
She added that throughout December she worked daily without taking breaks, even when her staff travelled for the festive season.

“No days off, no stretches, no nothing… just a walking corpse working tirelessly to cater for others, forgetting myself,” she said.

Speaking further from her hospital bed, the actress expressed gratitude to God for preserving her health despite her exhaustion.

“I did over 32 tests today, and all came out negative… I guess God took proper care of my organs while I neglected my body,” she wrote.

Medical personnel have reportedly diagnosed her condition as extreme exhaustion and advised her to embark on complete bed rest.

Fans and colleagues have since flooded her social media pages with prayers and well-wishes, expressing relief that the actress is stable and wishing her a speedy recovery.
