Dabiri-Erewa noted that Nigerians living abroad could contribute as much as $100 billion annually to the country’s economy through strategic investments.
She explained that discussions at the summit would focus on capital-market opportunities, infrastructure development, public-private partnerships and regulatory frameworks.
According to her, key institutions expected to participate include the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), NEXIM Bank, Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC).
She added that interactive sessions would give participants direct access to regulators, project sponsors and verified service providers.

Also speaking, Chairman of the Nigeria Diaspora Summit Initiative (NDSI), Mr. Mobolaji Lewis, said the 2026 edition would go beyond raising capital to establishing a structured, transparent and credible investment environment.
Lewis explained that the decision to adopt a virtual format was influenced by preparations for the 2027 general elections.
