Hajiya Saratu Daso, a popular Kannywood actress, died in Kano at the age of 56.
The actress died less than an hour ago, according to a producer, Yakubu Gwammaja, who has worked with her previously.
He stated that her funeral will be held at 4 p.m. today.
However, her cause of death was uncertain at the time this report was filed.
