Teenage Mistakenly Shoots Self Dead While Filming Social Media Video
Police have confirmed the tragic death of 17-year-old rapper Rylo Huncho, found at his home in Suffolk, V!rginia.
Authorities reported that Huncho, whose real name was Raleigh, died from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Although the police did not initially identify the victim, Huncho’s family has since shared the heartbreaking news on a GoFundMe page set up to support his mother.
The page reveals that Huncho was his mother’s only child and describes her as a single parent who did her best to care for him.
The GoFundMe page reads, “Hello, my aunt recently lost her 17-year-old son from a self-inflicted gun wound to the head. He was her only son! She was a single parent but took care of her son the best she could.
The family is still trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding Huncho’s death, but added: ‘Anything I mean anything can help her at this time of need.’”
Footage shared on social media in the wake of the rapper’s death shows Huncho dancing and singing into a camera while holding a pistol for a video on his Instagram Stories. It is believed that during this routine, he turned off the gun’s safety switch, which led to the fatal accident.
The family is devastated, and the community is rallying to support them in their time of need. The GoFundMe page, which features an image of Huncho, also includes a plea for prayers and support: “He was her only child, she was also an only child, it was always her and her son. Anything can help! Please keep my family in your prayers thank you so much.”
This tragic incident underscores the importance of gun safety and the devastating impact of accidental shootings on families and communities.
