Mohbad: Court Grants Naira Marley, Sam Larry Bail
On Monday, a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted N20 million in bail to Azeez Fashola, better known by his stage name Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, better known by his stage name Sam Larry, subject to three responsible responsibilities.
On October 6, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two other people were arraigned and remanded for their alleged participation in the death of artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, commonly known as Mohbad.
Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ordered the defendants to surrender their passports and report once a week to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti.
“As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department,” Olatunbosun ruled.
