PHOTOS: Remains Of Late Obot Laid To Rest In Akwa Ibom
The remains of Late Sir Henry Okokon Obot, a former dean of ward leaders in Uruan Local Government Area in Akwa state, was today committed to mother earth.
Late sir henry was buried in his country home, Nung Ikono Obio, in Uruan Local Government Area.
The Chairman of Uruan Local Government Area, Hon. Surv. Iniobong Ekpenyong, political leader of Uruan and senator representing Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District, Senator Aniekan Bassey and other government officials were present to pay their final respects to the departed Patriarch.
The late Patriarch was a devout Christian of the Roman Catholic Church and had served the Church and humanity in numerous capacities where he was a Member of the Order of the Knight of Saint Mulumba, Nigeria, and rose to the 4th Degree of the Noble Order.
