We Must Kill Israeli PM Netanyahu ‘With Full Force’; Iran Vows
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for missile and drone strikes on three United States military bases in the Middle East region on Sunday.
The attacks mark a significant escalation in Tehran’s military operations and underline rising tensions in the Middle East.
According to India Today, the semi-official Fars News Agency reported that the IRGC issued a direct warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, declaring: “If the Israeli prime minister is still alive, we will continue pursuing him and kill him with full force.”
According to the IRGC, the strikes were part of a broader strategy to counter what it perceives as threats from the United States and its allies in the region. The statement indicated that Iran intends to maintain pressure on Israel and its leadership.
No independent verification of the attacks was immediately available, and the IRGC did not provide information on casualties or damage at the US bases.
The declaration against Netanyahu comes amid ongoing tensions in the region, where Iran has repeatedly condemned Israeli military actions and policies.
Fars News Agency quoted the IRGC as stating that such operations would continue, framing them as defensive measures against perceived aggression.
The warning to Netanyahu represents one of the most explicit threats from Iran against an Israeli leader in recent years, signalling a potential escalation in targeted hostilities.
The IRGC concluded its statement by reaffirming Iran’s commitment to its regional strategy, asserting it will persist in actions against those it considers adversaries.
