Information reaching IBOM FOCUS that Gov Udom Successor Finally unveiled
The Executive Governor of Akwa ibom state Deacon Udom Emmanuel has reportedly chosen the Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Hon Pastor Umo Eno, as his successor.
Governor Emmanuel, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has yet to make the move official.

The 54-year-old has however consistently maintained that he would not impose any candidate on the people of Akwa Ibom but that he would only rally around whoever God reveals to him.
Mr Emmanuel, who took over from Senator Godswill Akpabio in 2015, is due to complete his second term in 2023.

G31 Believers
According to State-based tabloid, The Ibom Informers, Pastor Umo Eno was unveiled before a powerful cartel of Governor Emmanuel’s kitchen cabinet and most trusted allies.
The group is codenamed ‘G31 Believers’ comprising one person in each of the 31 local government areas of the oil-rich state.
The public declaration to present Pastor Eno as the Governor’s successor is billed for August 2021.
Meanwhile, a meeting to kick start the campaign process has been scheduled for today, Monday, April 26, in Uyo to be presided over by former Attorney General and Nigerian Ambassador to Russia, Chief Assam Assam at Enjmm Hotel and Hon Monday Uko, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports at Monty Hotels respectively.

Pastor Umo Eno is 57-year-old, from Nsit Ubium local goverment area, is the founder of All Nations Christian Ministry International.

Until his appointment as Commissioner, Pastor Umo Eno was the Executive Director, Directorate of Agricultural Investments, AKICORP having relinquished his position as the Executive Governor/CEO of Royalty Group, a company he founded in 1997 with business interest in hospitality, manufacturing and oil and gas sector.
He is married to Patience and they are blessed with children.
