COVID-19: FG Issues Fresh Order On Flights
Information reaching us that, that the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has announced immediate resumption of catering services on domestic and international flights.
The services were suspended by the Federal Government (FG) during the outbreak of COVID-19 as part of measures to stop the spread of the virus.

This online news platform understands that while the services were suspended, passengers were offered a bottle of water by some airlines.
He disclosed this on Monday, March 22, at the weekly briefing by members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
The Minister explained that the decision was taken in consideration of the businesses that have been adversely affected by the suspension and comfort of passengers.
Sirika, however, noted the processes and procedures for the resumption of the services would be revealed by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), which will be in line with international practices.
He also noted the reopening of Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu and the Port Harcourt International Airport for international flights were sacrosanct.
The Minister said a simulation exercise would be conducted before the opening to ascertain the preparedness level
