Ex-militants megally set to protest in Ondo State demand amnesty entitlements and neglect of their meeting at OSOPADEC Office.
Former militants in Arogbo Ijaw Kingdom in Ese-odo LGA of Ondo State who surrendered their arms and ammunitions through the Amnesty Programme arranged by the Ondo State Government in 2017, saying the government has reneged on the agreement reached with them.

Agabra Ikoito Atili (IK), the Deputy APC State Chairman and Commissioner for Osopadec betrayed trust of leadership into deep oceanic river and concomitant of Concord with one Mr. Sam Loko, an Health consultant of Ese-odo LGA and other puny ex- militants whose also surrendered their arms and ammunitions. We can’t fold our strong hands of sighting and allow one political leader we voted into power used our sweats and favour others.

The Osopadec office is now a weapon in the hand of one tribe and nepotism leaders of our area against others in Ondo State. I thereafter hereby pass vote of no confidence to Hon. Williams Ebimodenghan, former Special Adviser to Governor on Niger Delta Affairs over their lackadaisical determinations of characters which will soon move them to deplorable failure for future elections.
The ex-agitators, who were on black and white attires ready to stormed the Governor’s Office in Alagbaka of Akure around 8 am early next week, blocked the road, and didn’t allow vehicles to pass through the area.

We will shut down all the entrances to the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) office in Oba-Ile Area of Akure and barrel all the Staffs from entry by early next week.
