Information reaching Ibom Focus says that Massive Sack Hit FG Workers
The Federal Government has said it will sanction 296 federal workers should they fail to report at their new postings by February 28, 2022
It was also observed that the affected workers were redeployed from their old ministries, departments and agencies to fill new vacancies in their new MDAs.
The affected officers are between Grade Levels 8-14.
This was contained in a circular obtained from the Head of Civil Service of the Federation in Abuja on Friday.
The circular with reference number, HCSF/CMO/EMD/AOD/013/1/30 addressed to the Chief of Staff to the President, heads of agencies and parastatals, permanent secretaries, among others, was signed by the Director, Employee Mobility of the Head of Service, Mrs Olusola Dada.
It read, “I am directed to convey the approval of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation for the deployment of the following workers on SGL 08-14 in the pool of the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
“The postings take immediate effect and all handling and take over processes must be completed on or before February 28, 2022. All Directors of Human resource management are required to submit details of compliance to this posting instruction to the office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation before March 4,2022.
“All officers concerned should note that failure to adhere to this posting instruction contravenes the provisions of the Public Service Rules 030301(b) and will be met with appropriate sanctions.”
