Yahaya, who was the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadan Kai (previously Lafiya Dole) in the North-East until his appointment, is a graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy’s 37 Regular Course, while his predecessor, the late Attahiru, was a graduate of Course 35.
